Constitutional review: consultation wanted

The Prime Minister sadly did not announce the details of the Constitutional review at his Monday afternoon post-Cabinet meeting media conference. However, the review did feature in a question from a sharp journalist. The Prime Minister has stated, again, that the review will be announced in the "next few weeks". Don't hold your breath!

However, it seems we might be getting closer. Labour is calling for consultation with the leader of the opposition, which the Prime Minister has thankfully agreed to. Meanwhile the Greens have called for Maori to be consulted, along with Peter Dunne who wants consultation to be as wide as possible. Watch this space.
