Greens: no consultation

Green MP Keith Locke explains exactly why the appointment of the Governor-General needs to be codified:

The government of the day decides, without any formal process of consultation with other parliamentary parties. The Green Party was not consulted over the appointment of either Sir Anand Satyanand or his successor.

Keith makes mention of our suggested amendments to the Governor-General Act 2010.
