As you can see from our media release today, Lieutenant-General Jerry Mateparae is the people's choice for the next
Governor-General, according our poll. Who says New Zealanders aren't mature enough to choose their own head of state? Oh that's right...

If we can presume that the preference of a few hundred RMANZ loyalists constitutes "the peoples choice", what kind of a republic would we end up with?

Well this poll had 1,400 respondents, but our other research is targeted surveys well outside of our membership base.
