Kia ora. As the quote goes "Power concedes nothing without a demand; it never has and it never will" - so how then, can Aotearoa-New Zealand ever be a Republic if the majority prefer to remain under the Crown?
The support for the monarchy will die in time. Students like me are supporting this idea and you will find that many new supporters are actually younger and wish to seperate themselves from Britains grasp entirely.
But one of the problems is that many kiwis don't understand what this whole business is about and therefore do not feel comfortable voting against the monarchy
Hi all,
Great website, great cause. :-)
Here is a suggestion: how about some T-shirts?
How do people feel about getting some slogans, or a logo printed on a good quality T-shirt? It does help to raise the profile of an issue, particularly if the lettering/art wok is done well, and its an item of clothing thats nice to wear.
Also, profits could go to the organisation.
Any support for this?
cheers

Hey Daniel,
It's not a bad idea - the problem is I can't find anywhere that will do it cheap enough (that is, less than $50 cost). Any suggestions would be welcome.
Cheers
Lewis
Cool - I can help look too. In Rotorua btw ~
I've got some prices and a simple "I *heart* NZ" design by Matt Curran with our web address on them - about $30 each. Does that sound reasonable?
