Join the Republic - be part of the head of state campaign

Campaign donations and active participation are vital to our work and we welcome whatever you can afford to give. New Zealand Republic is an incorporated society, and our accounts are provided annually to the registrar of incorporated societies. As a political campaign, we do not have charitable status.

We are 100% funded by members and supporters. We don’t receive financial support from taxpayers, unions, corporates or private businesses.

We use donations to promote the idea of a New Zealand head of state through public events, advertising, online content, social media, publishing and news media.

To make a donation to the campaign, you can either:

  • Make an online bank payment to our Donations Account: ‘NZ Republic Incorporated’ 38 9007 0861189 00. Please use your last name as the reference.

  • Make a recurring credit or debit card payment using our secure online payment system, please complete the details in the box to the left.

Membership

To become a voting member of New Zealand Republic, please contact our membership co-ordinator. Any active financial supporter donating money at or above the level of an annual membership fee will be offered annual membership.

Membership Fees

$40 per annum (waged) or $30 per annum (unwaged) paid direct our membership account: NZ Republic Incorporated’ 38 9007 0861189 01. If paying in instalments by AP. It is $4 per month waged or $3 per month unwaged. To be a member, you must:

  • Work productively with members from across the political spectrum

  • Focus on issues and principles not personalities

  • Accept New Zealand Republic’s constitution, principles and policies

Membership is at the discretionof the campaign executive.
